FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do you own your 2 properties?

A: All are vacation rental homes are owned by Lynn and Steve. We ask that you treat these homes & villas as if they were your own.

Q: Where and when do we check in?

A: After receiving your final payment, we will mail you a final confirmation that will have the following: a map to your home, and instructions on the alphabetical combination lockbox on the front door. Once in your property, you will find an information packet with everything you need to know about golf, tennis, dining, shopping and many of the other activities available in the area.. Check-in is usually 4:00 PM and Check-out is at 10:00 AM. If no one is checking out the day you are checking in, there may be some flexibility. Likewise, on the day you are leaving.

Q: Do I need to make a deposit?

A: Yes, we require a deposit of 50% (or $1000-whichever is greater) of your total rental with the balance due 60 days prior to your arrival. Payments can be made by cashiers or personal check, Personal checks will not be accepted less than 30 days prior to your arrival.

Q: What if I change my mind?

A: If you contact us no later than 90 days prior to arrival, we will refund your deposit and any other payments that may have been made, less a 25% cancellation fee (25% of the total reservation). Cancellations or refunds will be allowed past the 90 day mark if the home can be re-rented, but it is more difficult.

Q: What about pets?

A: We do have many pet friendly properties. In the other properties pets are not allowed, so for these we suggest you give your pet a vacation too! There is a $150 pet fee for additional cleaning.

Q: Are there any other charges?

A: Yes, there are other charges.

1) California hotel & tourism tax which is currently at 10%. Rates are based on 4 adults per home. Extra adults could bring extra charges of $100 per person or more; depending on the home. Cleaning Rates of $100-$250 per property include departure cleaning only.

2) Extra beds or mattresses could include additional fees. 3) Additional maid service is available charges vary based on size of unit). Rates and activities are subject to change without notice. Your quotation is normally good for 24 hours, and normally includes all the fees above.

Q: Is there a security deposit?

A: Yes! We require a refundable $1000 security deposit and a credit card number to be on file in the event of damages, missing items, excessive utilities or excessive house-keeping upon departure, etc. Your credit card will not be charged unless one of these has occurred.

Q: Which housekeeping services are available?

A: We expect you to return your home in the same condition as you received it, except the cleaning service will do the laundry and a full cleaning upon your departure. Additional housekeeping services for your stay can be arranged in advance by contacting our customer service department.

Q: Which bedding configuration should we expect?

A: Each home is privately owned and furnished. All homes have a king bed in the master suite. The other bedrooms are all outfitted with queen beds. Please see individual homes for details. SOme couches are also queen sleepers.

Q: Are individual washer and dryers available?

A: Yes, each home is equipped with its own washer and dryer for the convenience of guests that expect to have these amenities right in their residence.

Q: What weather conditions can we expect?

A: San Clemente is universally known as some of the best climate in the world - regardless of the season, it is important to bring a variation of outer wear and cloths to allow you and those traveling with you to dress appropriate for weather conditions.
